The First Step House of Orange Co., Inc. is a non-profit organization that oversees the operation of Charle Street and the McMillen Houses. They all are recovery and transitional social model facilities in Costa Mesa, CA. The three residences serve the local communities by assisting indigent men suffering from severe drinking problems.

With its 61 year history, Charle Street’s reputation transcends the boundaries of Southern California. Desperate men have sought help from throughout California as well as across the United States.
