Charle Street

Requirements: To be admitted, men must meet and adhere to the following simple requirements:

  • Have a desire to stop drinking.
  • Have an ID.
  • No cell phones.
  • Be willing to become active/active again in a 12-Step program.
  • Make a commitment to both sobriety and a 10-day stay.
  • Have or be willing to acquire a 12-Step sponsor
  • Agree to abide by the house rules.

Quick Facts: ‘Charle Street’ is a short-term residential facility providing caring support, room, board, toiletries and clothing for up to twenty-one recovering alcoholics. It is the only facility of its kind in Orange County that offers this scope of assistance free of charge to the men it serves. ‘Charle Street’ is managed by an all-volunteer committee of sober, kind and devoted men. The majority of these Committeemen are former residents; now active and productive members of the community they gratefully give back to.
